Visual Artist

Artist, Educator Originally from Argentina, Teresa María Pensel is an accomplished ceramic artist and designer whose work is deeply rooted in her cultural heritage and a lifetime of artistic exploration. Teresa's journey began at a very young age, learning the privilege of working with her hands alongside her grandmother. This early immersion in textiles and art, strongly encouraged by her parents, fostered a deep connection to Argentina's cultural and artistic roots. A Permanent Member of the Argentine Center of Ceramic Art, Teresa has been widely recognized for her work, receiving distinctions such as the Second Acquisition Prize at the 31st Municipal Ceramics Exhibition and the Second Place Winner at the 11th National Biennial of Ceramic Art Argentina. Her pieces have been selected for prestigious exhibitions, including the International Ceramic Art Exhibition CAAC and the New Artists Exhibition of Fire Arts CAAC. Beyond her studio practice, Teresa is dedicated to sharing her passion. Her background as a Ceramic Technician, combined with her current studies in Graphic Design, allows her to blend traditional techniques with contemporary aesthetics, bringing a unique and rich perspective to her role as an educator.
